BR-DE-23-a Credit transfer without IBAN
The invoice says “pay by credit transfer” (code 30 or 58) but gives no account. The “credit transfer” group with the IBAN is missing.
The message in the validation report
[BR-DE-23-a] Wenn BT-81 "Payment means type code" einen Schlüssel für Überweisungen enthält (30, 58), muss BG-17 "CREDIT TRANSFER" übermittelt werden.
Common causes
- Payment method is fixed to transfer in the software, but the bank account is empty.
- The IBAN had a typo and was dropped by the software.
- Several bank accounts set up, none marked as default.
How to fix it
- Enter the IBAN in the company settings.
- If the invoice is not paid by transfer, choose the right payment method (e.g. 59 for direct debit).
- Create the invoice again.
